 | fading Fading Tell me you are not blind To the forgetfulness in your own eyes, To the guite fading of another's face; Late at night like stars I would dazzle you But now I am just the outlines Of someone you used to know;
You notice my photograph Colours fading in the yielding sun, And it all seems so fanciful and far away Are you afraid to look into the sanguine eyes That blame you For the passing of time's tenderness.
You turn out the light, Waiting for the luminous shapes to fade away And like then do I sparkle then guitly float Out of tomonow's dreams, Into the open plains of after-love peace. |
