life Category: Writing and Poetry Life is sometimes so confusing you don't know which way to turn What is up and what is down? Which end of the candle to burn? You feel boxed in and trapped like you can't get out You are screaming so loud but no one can hear you shout You feel like no one cares and you are all alone The anger and the pain has turned your heart to stone You are lonesome, scared, and so confused Lord which path of life should you choose Which road will lead you out of this misery and hate Which way out you pray it's not to late Must you live the rest of your life all alone Or will happiness and love finally bring you home Will you find that place in your dreams you see Or will you live life all alone and never find what's meant to be
